Belfast 2021
Saw this on a plane. The shots were beautiful and I liked the way they incorporated Van Morrison songs, but moments felt rushed and the adult characters didn’t seem to develop that much. Maybe it’s because it’s a story from the perspective of a child. Buddy is an unreliable narrator.
That being said, I still cried at one point. I’m hormonal, okay.
