  A 2-hour summation of how to disgrace the original.

  The action sequences barely compensate for the mind-numbing non-sequitors and inconsistent CGI.

  The most aggravating part? Phrases from the 1st film are shoehorned in, seemingly with the sole purpose of not making sense.

  Looking forward to watching the soon-to-be greenlit Gladiator III.

  Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire 2023

  For a film unsure of whether it's Star Wars, The Matrix or Star Trek, this collage is but a paltry impersonation of each… as predictable as it is boring. Glued together by famous faces, CGI spend and Deus ex Machina storytelling, this dopamine binge does little to make up for its poor writing and inconsistent pacing. What is clearly an attempt at a fully fired franchise turns out to be water poured on barely warm kindling.
