The Brutalist 2024

Sooooo, I thought this was a good film and Adrian Brodys acting and accent was very good - I didn’t get bored at all throughout which is impressive for such a long film. However! It loses one star for the r*pe scene as I don’t think it was necessary for the plot and the relationship was breaking down anyway - of course it allowed for a dramatic end to the movie but I think it would’ve been just as good without it and it kind of came out of no where ?
