wow. i missed the first five or so minutes - will have to watch again when im not late and also tired from work.
i wish the ending had been different, but it simply couldn’t be. a bit too tired to elaborate but this hit a lil close to home. i think theres a lot of overlap/similarities between latino and african culture/customs, and so some scenes felt very familiar.
didn’t expect such a stacked cast. fun and silly! kiss me by sixpence none the richer really is one of the best songs ever.
wow. wow. what else could i possibly say. knowing that the actors were basically playing themselves really made it that much more impactful. divine eye did SUCH an incredible job. i hope we see so much more from him!!!!!!!!
also we need so much more 35mm film. modern cameras are cool, but film really makes such a difference.
on the nose in a good way. the ending was really awesome. very cool VFX work that we don’t really see in movies lately. i wouldn’t say it was “stomach turning” but it definitely wasn’t comfortable. would’ve appreciated it being a tad bit shorter, but fun nonetheless.
