I felt like I needed the healing powers of a early 2000’s movie. And it delivered, I had surprisingly never seen this before. Was it predictable? Of course, was it at times not the best acting? Of course. But it was a feel good, taking your own power back film and I loved it. Films like these just feel like a warm hug, did I laugh and cry? Of course I did. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a bit more colour and fervour in their lives. Also og queen of vision boards. I loved it.

The Electric State 2025
Apparently this movie cost around 320 mil? The visuals were great, CGI was good. But the storyline and acting just wasn’t great. I understand the vision, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea that’s for sure. I like the cyber punk aspect. It was okay. Or could be a big ploy to get us to have empathy for robots, who knows. Seriously Netflix needs to sort out their original TV shows and movies, it’s been flopping so terribly the last couple of years. Plot lines are predicable and always skipping corners. Even the filming styles and scenes are identical to any other Netflix original I watch.
