  Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- 2025

  First intro to Gundam but not first intro to robots. (Gurren Lagann, Neon Genesis, Transformers.) Went with my Gundam Fanboy friend.
  The hommage (?) to the classic gundam was beautiful. I love and miss the character designs and styles of OG anime. But I also loved the color and whimsy of the newer style.
  I managed to follow along with the war and politics, much to my friend's surprise, and enjoyed the story and fights. I'm actually invested and look forward to future episodes.

  I was so pleasantly surprised. SZA and Keke Palmer's chemistry is so good, all the characters both felt real and genuine and also like caricatures. Made me laugh and was really precious at moments.

  Honestly...really dug it!

  James McAvoy acted circles around the rest of the cast. And that's not their fault. James is just insane. But the rest of main cast felt really good!

  Genuinely, I was really interested in the relationships of the characters. It was uncomfortable and had my attention. I honestly think the movie would have been better if the last section didn't happen.

  Being able to scream "oh fuck!" in a theatre by myself with my bestfriend who is terrified was the perfect way to see this film. Jesus Christ. This movie is gonna stick with me.
