I went to what I call the Kelela Conservatory of Music.
what a treat it is to be able to experience kelela, whether through her music or this short documentary. seeing glimpses into how she engages with the art is like witnessing leonardo da vinci paint the mona lisa, personally.
wanted to watch this because i saw a ridiculous clip of someone getting drop kicked. to my delight, there were also several other instances of that happening throughout the movie.
this hurts. this is painful. i dont want it to ever end.
OH THIS WAS SO GOOD… i had my reservations with haikyuu’s remaining arcs being turned into movies but they did so well that i barely have any complaints. asides from foregoing a few (key) scenes/dialogues, watching this in theatres enhanced the experience in some really interesting ways. its also so very reminiscent of the s1-s3 that ive missed and love dearly <3
wish they had this type of production with the inarizaki arc but oh well!
