It’s fine. It was definitely shapes and colours for a child, who is the audience, not me.
It was definitely a stepping-stone movie, so it’s mid by itself BUT I reckon they’re ramping up for an absolutely banging 3rd movie. And yk what I respect that. Next movie they’ll actually have an antagonist and side characters that are pre established so they won’t have to do that awkward justification as to why we haven’t heard of big-bads that all sequels…

I’m always a big fan of Black Mirror-esc shows that allow short stories a space in tv. With every episode being a different story, though, it was always a hit or a miss.
I liked the first ones premise although it lacked depth or intrigued. The masturbation scene didn’t really add. It was creepy but not creepy enough yk?

For people with no fucking film literacy all they’ll see in this movie is that it’s pretty and that it’s marketing slogan was “best animated movie of the last 10 years” and then surprise surprise they regurgitate that very slogan and think they’re a film fucking scholar.
