Setting aside the terrible sound and video editing, it is essentially transparent that this “documentary” is purely pro-Putin propaganda. They interview only firmly pro-Putin figures, and describe everything from Putin’s side of the conflict. It is eery that a film that was clearly funded by Putin’s government ends with a foreshadowing of war: given that this was Kremlin-funded, the ending amounts to a threat that if Ukraine doesn’t kneel to Russian sovereignty, that a war will start—and other viewers believe…
