  Former thumbsuckers rise ✊🏾

  It hurts to give this such a low rating, but if it was more whimsical/campy I think I would’ve liked it much more. Just took itself too seriously sometimes. I think a rewatch in a year or so will change my view maybe, hopefully, because I still really liked it.

  Wasn’t expecting to see a borderline depressed philosophical Keanu Reeves in this but a wins a win. It was also nice to see Tilda Swinton just being a mom. I feel like everything I see her in she’s always stressed out doing something crazy or like an ice witch or whatever.
