    Eric was watching this one day in the living room. I hadn't intended to sit down and watch with him because I had seen it before, but there is just something about this movie that draws me in. Even though I've watched and re-watched this movie, I still am captivated by the characters and how well each actor or actress brought their part to life. I'm also so drawn in by this whole idea of the menu/courses as a reflection of what is wrong with the different people. The burger showdown at the end always gets me. American cheese IS the best cheese for a cheeseburger.

    This was such an interesting premise and I liked the 1970s late-night show setting for a horror movie. I think this period was great to play with the novelty of live TV alongside the unease brought about by the Satanic Panic and televised war of the decade. This paired with the loose cult references and "selling your soul to the devil" made for perfect spooky fodder. I do wish it pushed a bit further at the end with the insanity…
