This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Not something I’d usually watch. Although some may disagree, I didn’t feel like the plot twist was that expected (or maybe I’m just naive). I think the point of it wasn’t to be shocking due to its being, but more to be shocking when it comes to the fact it was “okay” to have a pope in this situation. It’s almost utopian - but I loved the fact that it was up to the Dean to reveal it or not.…

Bogotá: City of the Lost 2024
Interesting movie. I felt like it was kind of slow towards the middle. However, I really liked it and I believe the story was unusual and interesting which I desperately needed. The main actor did great with his role!
There was a part which I did not understand: why his father had to steal from him (Did the woman/“boss”/shop-owner make him do that?) Why did he look not put-together and miserable if his son just started making big money? Kook-hee’s mom was looking great, so why does his father not? I’m confused.
Nevertheless, another great movie from the Korean cinema with great ending and metaphor!

I genuinely don’t understand the point of this movie. The way I see it is - it’s to show the temptation of older women to experiment with younger men (no matter the reason). If that is what it is - why is it necessary to make a whole movie about it? To show the outcome and prevent older women of doing it? Or to encourage them to do it? Anyways, I feel like generally it was made just to portray…
