Titanium 2018
What a wonderful feeling of nostalgia and familiarity with the main character’s feelings. So skillfully captured a specific era in Turkish history in a micro scale, a human scale that combines notions of uncertainty, adolescence, and belonging. I personally feel connected to this film because of my own past, but it speaks to much more than one individual. I wish I felt like this more in life watching movies.
