Can't Buy Me Love 1987
Easily one of, if not the best rom-coms of all time. The character’s chemistry is undeniable, and I’m not even a person who enjoys romance, but this movie is just so crazy charming. Patrick Dempsey and Amanda Peterson give great and effortless performances. The setting is just so quintessentially 80s, which just adds to the overall appeal. And sure, it can be a bit cheesy at times, but genuinely what rom-com isn’t? Like bffr. This movie just never gets old. Riding off in a lawnmower?! PERFECTION!!! Love this movie ❤️

Saturday Night 2024
Idk and idc what critics say, I LOVED THIS MOVIE!! Just a GOOD TIME!! The ensemble cast was PERFECT, it truly embodied the SNL legacy and old SNL. This movie captured the meaning of making art to make art and I loved that. Also… Gabriel Labelle as Lorne Michaels?! All in all, just a great nostalgic film that knows what it is… even though the point is that they don’t. Just a beautiful piece of art that warmed my heart ❤️

Frankenstein 1931
Genuinely, there is a reason why we still reference and watch this movie 93 years later. This was revolutionary at the time, changed cinema, and redefined the horror genre. Boris Karloff’s portrayal and acting was absolutely insane, and still resonates with audiences almost 100 years later. This film just stands the test of time, and thank god for it. Also, props to Mae Clark. She gave a voice to women in horror, quite literally. Her scream was revolutionary at the time, and is still just as badass.
