  I haven’t really ever gotten around to checking out Paul Schrader’s work outside of Taxi Driver, I’m very glad I’ve finally gotten around to watching this one. 

  I really really enjoyed watching George C Scott in this, but then again I don’t know if I’ve ever not liked him in anything. Seeing him in his wig and fake mustache disguise was absolutely ridiculous.

  This was my first time seeing this from front to back, and I’m not going to lie to you and say that I understand much of what’s going on after the Silencio scene, but that’s okay. I feel like this is one of those films where if anyone says they understand everything 100% is just straight up lying.
