    WHAM!

Absolutely loved it. As a long-time Wham! fan I was thrilled to learn more about the music and hear Andrew and George reflect on their experiences while they were in the band. There's a good collection of archival footage structured in a clever and wholesome way. I found the story about "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" to be so sweet. Let's celebrate the dream that came true and encapsulated youth and friendship!

Coincidentally watched two Jake Gyllenhaal movies today. This and Nightcrawler. An excellent way to see his range as an actor with the characters he plays in those movies. Brilliant.

What is this, Denis? Another treasure? Oh, it is! How do you do it? Time and again you bestow these gifts upon us. This is the work of a master.

Roger, my boy. You were robbed! Where is your for Oscar for cinematography you definitely won for your work in this movie? Emmanuel Lubezki has it? Oh. For Gravity?! No, no, no. Much respect to Lubezki, but that belongs to Mr. Deakins.

    All or Nothing: Arsenal

After such an emotional season it's nice to have this documentary to look at how some things were behind the scenes.

The 21/22 season was such a roller-coaster for Arsenal. I won't repeat it all but as the season went on we found ourselves in so many different runs of form and up and down the table. When it ended it was bittersweet because of the way that we missed out on the top four but throughout the season I…

Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

Rewatched this along with the series after seven years. This review will be shorter than my series review. The End of Evangelion is my preferred ending. I think the transition works better between episode 24 and this film, than it does with the original episodes 25 and 26. The decision to tell the conclusion of this story in a film works marvelously. The film not only expands on the conclusion of the series, it stays faithful to the original ending…
