  I didn't love it but don't hate it either. It mostly feels like a bloated episode of the X Files. I kind of wish they opted for a fun, monster-of-the-week episode inspired movie rather than a convoluted, mythology story. I'm not sure how the X Files translates to film. I would probably rather just watch a couple episodes. There is a fight between a caveman and an alien, so it has that going for it.

  I liked this one a lot more than the first one. It has the fun spectacle that the first one relies on, but with much more interesting characters and plot. The mystery is super fun and well written. I also enjoyed the camerawork a lot, too (it does a lot of fun things, like using Dutch angles).

  I had a big smile on my face from the start of the movie until the credit's end. Sasha Baron Cohen is a genius. There are multiple parts that are the hardest I've laughed in a movie in a while. Overall, I love how there's really no other movie like it. I think it's a postmodern masterpiece.
