    Not your average cancer flick. Joseph Gordon-Levitt turns in one of the best performances of his career as the main character dealing with the kind of news those of us who have never experienced could even imagine. This is an honest film with accurate portrayals of the different type of reactions loved ones might have if someone close to them was diagnosed with cancer. Somehow 50/50 has flown under the radar but was one of the best films in 2011 for sure.
