This movie is not good. however i do not think it's bad. it has many interesting ideas, with mixed results
on the positives, anthony mackie is a great actor, i feel how he feels, the new falcon is cool, i liked him and when he was injured i was sad.
red hulk fucking rocks dude, i love seeing his scene, and before transformation i really like him.
the leader is....okay, i hate his design but his writing fits really well.…

shockingly this is an excellent rendition of clark kent/superman, he has the staples of superman that he always should have.
the plot feels bland, but it reminds me of superman smashes the klan, which is always nice, i can't help but love to watch superman be a champion of the oppressed.

superman: brainiac attacks...sure does exist, this film is boring as piss.
i cannot tell you what happened, it jumps between so many different characters and plot points, of "clark wants to quit being clark kent" to brainiac just being a jerk.
the voice cast instantly demoted this to 1.5 stars with whatever the lex voice was, why even have him here if you could get clancy brown.

this movie is.... good, it's not great, but far from bad, on the side of the positives the animation is great, fluid, pretty, etc, the story is great, i love how much this demonstrates how undoubtedly intelligent clark is. superman really is smart.
themtically the movie's pretty well done, the theme of doing what you can when your life is limited is pretty cool, and clark being in the situation of having a finite life span is nearly haunting.
