  So before I get into how utterly bizarre this movie was I want to praise Coppola for actually making this, this movie has been cooking in his mind for a while, I really believe he loves the concept of this movie.

  I think this was a final shot, a now or never attempt to create a vision that vastly exceeded reality and I can't fault the guy for just wanting to see his idea come to life before he runs…

  The Brutalist 2024

  Wow this was good! I had no idea this wasn't a biopic, it felt so real and organic I wouldn't have known if I hadn't looked into it.

  This movie is really about the people who escaped Europe to seek a new life after WW2 and the prejudice they faced when they found that new life, the architecture provides a backbone for this story.

  I wasn't so sure about the ending.

  Very impressive for such a relatively small budget.
