Inventing Anna 2022
Pleasantly surprised how the story was told and the shots and flow. It was very nice and kept me engaged. Did get slow and boring at times though but I thought it was a nice series. Not mad at it.

Absolutely stunning. Stylistic asf, technical asf, beautiful storyline and such intentionality and subtlety. Definitely need to watch a few more times. The acting was believable and the chemistry was so on point. My friend cried in theaters. It reminded us of our childhood and what we experienced and went through but never really got to talk about in a more sophisticated way. Go see it if u can.

A bit slow but it’s worth it in the end. So much new emotions and perspectives on life and death. On living and gaining and dying and losing. It’s like two sides of the same coin.
TBH tho the poems (not the last one) were ass and the nasty stuff didn’t make sense to me and the son pissed me tf off (he should’ve died). But I thought it was shot super organically and the grandma is trying her best.
