Perhaps the greatest biography ever (don’t trust that, I haven’t watched many biographies). But I do think that this is one of the greatest character studies of all time. It is certainly the best Nolan film of all time. When I say that he uses all the best storytelling techniques and polishes them up, I mean that the film elevates what would be standard fare in any other movie. Parallels, symbolic microcosms. Oppenheimer’s sin that seems to only affect his personal life soon becomes the sin that will change the entire world. Masterpiece.

I HATE ANIME ADAPTATIONS!!!! LEAVE THE DAMN ANIME ALONE!!!!
Ok, I never watched the anime this film was based on, but having watched the adaptation, there is no way it can be worse.That’s how bad this movie was. Literally no motivation or desire established for ANY OF THE CHARACTERS. None. It’s as if they had Michael Bay write the story, but then they lobotomized him halfway through and made him stupider (as if that were possible). Truly a dreadful travesty.
Whatever the anime is, watch that instead. I promise it will be infinitely better.Translated from by
