One of my favorites of 2024 already, this was a great film. The movie focuses the majority of it’s story on the machiavellian power struggles of cardinals vying for the throne:

Very slow yet masterfully conceit. The reveal of Travis’ abusive past which has led to his current circumstances will always be shocking; yet his effort to bring his family back together while acknowledging his destructiveness reflects more somberly onto myself, empathizing almost.
