Legally Blonde 2001
surprisingly really good for something that was released in 2001, and subverts woman-on-woman rivalries delightfully in so many ways. The only thing that could have made this better was if it was sapphic, but that is my complaint about every movie that stars two women who come to reconcile their hatred of each other and let their connection blossom into friendship.
p.s my money's on Sofia Coppola for the director of Elle's harvard admissions essay. I just know it in my bones.
