Where to even start… They milked every last drop out of this trilogy. I love Mia Goth, but they really just tried to cash in after “Pearl.” The storyline had its entertaining moments, and I enjoyed the mysterious murderer angle, as well as how they captured the essence of serial killers and the satanic panic of the time. However, I was overall disappointed because I didn’t get the same energy from Mia Goth as in her previous performances. It felt like her way of saying this chapter of her life is done, and her performance came off as lackluster and mediocre.
The movie featured three different stories. The first one was about a guy who was submissive to his boss, allowing him to dictate every aspect of his life. However, when the submissive character refuses an order that challenges his morality, he is relieved of his duties. His life falls apart as he struggles to make decisions on his own and eventually tries to regain his position by committing the act he initially refused. This left me semi-shocked, but then the…
