Pretty bland and predictable. There's a decision at the end that keeps it from being completely lifeless but not interesting enough to justify the rest of the runtime. The cops are likeable characters but everyone else is pretty boring.

A great movie, with my only complaint being that Hannibal Lechtor is such a fascinating character and scene stealer that it makes you care less about the actual story thats going on and want more focus on Hannibal himself
