Thought this would be scary, the preview sold me the movie to go see it and that played out the first 30 minutes. An hour in and an hour left, the monster controls reality to the point things become meaningless. What a waste of time. All the actors did a great job, the premise just collapsed on itself.

Can only guess people were lost in some of the plot machinations because the movie leaned into some Greek mythology. It was so good, a movie you leave with thoughts on the mind. On some level it reminded me of watching the Kubrick film AI, but taken to completion. He should be really proud of his work.
Contemplate escaping the present and building for the future.
