Cringe over generalizations in some areas for sure, but ultimately a super engaging take on Barbie and it’s effect and place on and in women’s lives throughout the years. An interesting depiction of grasping for a reason for intrinsic worth and purpose. Also just so silly and fun. Ryan Gosling made lines that could have easily been embarrassing to even hear funny and on theme. The colors, costumes and sets were literally so good. It felt oddly like a movie…
