Wes never disappoints, this is one of my favorites from him. Only knocked it down half a star due to a slightly convoluted conclusion that I had to research in more depth to adequately understand.

Beautiful take on a psych thriller!!! Blown away by the plot and thoroughness of this movie; a very unrealistic plot was made completely believable, interesting, and mysterious up until the very end. There were also some really lovely cinematic touches that blew me away. The ambiguity between Sammy and Lenny’s stories (and the clips of Lenny re-remembering details of his wife in different ways) were beautiful, as were the flashbacks where Lenny and Sammy replaced each other. wowowowowowow. incredible in every way. Best treatment of Weird sisters in any Shakespeare adaptation, and the handling of lighting and camera angles leaves no doubt that this is A24. Incredible incredible incredible. Loved feeling like i was reading this again for the first time, discovered new fave lines and moments.
