What does it mean to be lost in translation? It could be like an actual language barrier but words can also get lost even when they're spoken in same language.
Everyone perceives the temperature, depth, and the art of words differently. In this movie, the main characters are physically in a country where they can't communicate with others, but also mentally so lost and beaten up. Despite the different situation they're in, the presence of each other helps one another to untangle the problems they're facing.
I hope they had a theme more than just love being the biggest problems of their lives.
1 hour 30 minute version of the intersection of two people who lost their loved ones.
Watching them living the present but yearning for the past, mourning for their lost ones, and searching for the traces of the lost time completed my life.
The absence of the loved ones would be replaced with the mournings of the ones who are left behind. The tears and the grief would grow the trees of nostalgia and mourning, and eventually create the forest.…
