  My opinion is an unpopular one and I am a bit scared that The Lost Boys die-hards will come after me. But I'll say it anyway: I found this movie to be incredibly boring and awkward. The viewer isn't given the chance to learn or care much about Michael before he becomes a vampire, so his transformation lacks tension.   Invasion of the Body Snatchers stands out in a sea of alien invasion films with political undertones that defined an era. Its quirky cast is memorable, from Brooke Adam's gravelly voice to Donald Sutherland's entire face to Leonard Nimoy's un-Spock-like emotional attentiveness. Jeff Goldblum and Veronica Cartwright round out the cast nicely as a couple with their own idiosyncratic neuroses.
