    The Edge of Seventeen meets Sun Dogs. The teens of the 70s had American Graffiti, the teens of the 80s had the Breakfast Club, and we have Perks. Average people make some of the best characters because they make us all feel seen. I cried over, laughed alongside with, and fell in love with these characters. Never mind the human condition because this is the epitome of the teenage condition. And one more thing, why can’t Paul Rudd be my English teacher. 🫶🤧
