  I decided to watch this right after watching Raw for the first time. I couldn’t wait to see what else Julia Ducournau had in store. But, my god, I’m going to be thinking about this film for the entirety of the year to come. There was hardly a moment where I felt I could relax. Ducournau has a way of holding scenes that are grotesque and disturbing, but you can’t look away. Both Raw and Titane are the definition of horror written by a woman. I loved every second of it and I am absolutely disgusted.
