  I owe so much to Rebecca bcs she torrented the crispest imaginable ultra-HDR copy of tenet which revealed a new layer of tenet to me. it does not care for time travel plots or even Pattison/Washington ships, it wants container ships, icebreakers, offshore turbines, Bernhard Lang photos, neatly routed PCBs and factorio megabases. are you right to accuse nolan of "setting vibrance+contrast to 11"? yes! but it's because he loves civilization and the machines that keep it running
