  Us is so concerned about being a sociopolitical metaphor that it fails to deliver on any other aspect of a cohesive film.  The script is all over the place - there are absolutely no rules governing the doppelgängers, no consistency, and even they don’t seem to know what they’re trying to accomplish.  The characters are about as compelling as your typical C-level horror movie, making some of the DUMBEST decisions I’ve ever seen characters make, and for some reason, seemingly…
