  I interpreted it as a deeply symbolic exploration of mortality, desire, and transgression, similar to Georges Bataille’s philosophy from “Eroticism: Death and Sensuality”. Intimacy, violence, and the blurring between life and death was so well done. I found countless scenes filled with symbolism, from the ritualistic portrayal of blood to the interplay of light and shadow, darkness and bliss. Truly reflects the tension Bataille saw in eroticism: the beauty of life confronted by inevitable death. Chefs kiss!
