hard not to feel like the room was nodding their heads pretentiously since this was a post-oscars viewing. I wasn't overly surprised or awed, which was probably just the hard to swallow purposeful tragedy of the predictability of annie's story. it WAS way funnier than I expected though. and just when I felt like igor's relationship with annie was getting a bit caricatured, the last scene stabbed me in the chest.

pretty pretty picture- so colorful and visually rich! I wish I could print out each frame and make a collage with it!
however, it made extremely violent acts against women feel uneventful. meaningless even. I didn’t care about any of the murders bc the women were portrayed as dolls. it felt weird, and worse, was boring
