At times, Guardians 3 is torture. Just like it’s persecuting villain, the films main objective is to punish you with endless shouting and threats of violence, all in the name of creating something better. This movie may want to be better than the rest of Marvel’s Phase 4, but sadly it’s not.
It’s not quite as bad as Guardians 2, but doesn’t live up to the charm and originality of 1.
This third installment tries hard to bring real stakes…
