  City of Ember has a killer underground vibe and a mystery that'll keep you guessing. Ronan and Treadaway nail the "trapped kid" thing. Story drags a bit, and it's definitely on the lighter side. Think "post-apocalyptic for beginners." Still, if you dig weird settings and a slow-burn reveal, it's worth a look.

  Slow burn, but man, Adam Brody is perfect. Super awkward, then BAM, dark twist. Ending messed me up. Not your usual detective flick.

  Watch it for the second time. I don't understand why peoples don't understand this movie. The plot's confusing, but the visuals are stunning. It's a good brain teaser, but be prepared to scratch your head. Definitely not a casual watch.
