Basically a how to get away from pushy missionaries lol
The historical and research-based focus approach of the movie made it 10x interesting. Dissecting the supernatural into pieces is what makes the movie terrifying—seeing both women fear because of doubt and learning about the “true god” is a horror that most paranormal/religious combined films don’t get; that most often than not, truth, logic, and power are more terrifying rather than the supernatural. One thing tho: Power is the true God—having control is a mere benefit under it.
