Ne Zha 2019
It’s no wonder Ne Zha was such a massive hit domestically and became an instant classic. It’s got some truly eye popping fight sequences as well as a touching story to back it up. Ne Zha may be a literal demon but he just wants to be accepted and acknowledged by everyone. Luckily he has quite possibly the most badass parents in movie history! Highly recommended!

The X Trilogy, as I’m calling it, may just be one of the best and most consistently entertaining horror movie series since Scream! MaXXXine delivers all of the gore you could want in a slasher film set in the 80’s. But what sets it apart from the movies it pays tribute to is the real world events that it was clearly inspired by. A must see for genre fans!

Godzilla 1954
There’s not a lot that can be said about the original Godzilla and I don’t think much more needs to be said. It’s a masterpiece! Given the resources available at the time of production the film still looks great even today! I especially like the low angle shots of Godzilla at night. Also the dark tone of the film still holds up given what inspired it. Dr. Daisuke Serizawa is legit one of my favorite sci-fi characters! Eventually A true classic in every sense of the word.
