Nobody Knows 2004
I felt like I had to really power through the beginning of this. It was slow paced and a little too humdrum life. I stuck it out and it did get better. The slow pacing at that point made sense. Something was amiss for me, though. I didn't get impacted quite so tragically I would have expected. Makes me think I can take Grave of the Fireflies a chance. I'll probably be fine.

Conclave 2024
Not gonna lie, I didn't know what a conclave was before watching this. I probably wouldn't have watched it had I known it was a movie about electing the pope. I was raised Catholic and anything related to that turns me off.
That aside, it was so juicy. It was scandalous and exciting. It was also beautifully made. The cinematography, the acting, the tension.
Knowing I would have avoided this if I had known anything at all beforehand just now feels so wrong. I would have missed out on something very well worth watching.
