  Starts out promisingly enough with a bold stylistic male frontal nudity scene. Unfortunately the back half of the film descends into a bloated melodrama with an unnecessary touch of pro-Zionism. Very strong aesthetics and performances, but it was not enough to make up for how drawn out and shallow much of the plot felt.
