The Ministry of Presence. The art of just being there for someone. That is what this movie is about. In brings a magnifying glass to incel culture. This man who the world is refusing to see or love of course is gonna lash out and be destructive. If you grew up without love we would all be the exact same way, and I think that is what makes this movie so dark and so haunting. It lingers on you long…

Hilarious movie. Wasn’t expecting that from Bong. Robert Pattinson holds the audience with his captivating performance contrasting the two roles of 17 and 18 very well. Though I believe the plot became very cliche in the third act.

Mark Ruffalo took a swing. Did I enjoy that swing? Doesn’t matter. He took it so hats off to him.

Like Bongs previous work it was clear the messages he was sending about Class, political leaders, colonization, and even a hint of Religion. Is it his best film? No. But is it a good film and a good time? Of course.

A perfect film. All the way around. Bong Joon-ho crafts a genre jumping classic. Act 1 is one of the best heist films to, at the drop of a dime, turn into a horror thriller.

What is truly masterful is his attention to…

Long. Long. Long. But beautiful vision and story. I adore the first act and am repulsed by the second act. It is tooooo brutal. I don’t enjoy the epilogue explaining everything I just watched. It was a moment and it will win awards, but don’t know the lasting impact this movie will have in years to come. May just be remembered as a movie that won awards. No staying power
