    The Philadelphia Story

    So a cool thing about my job is that I got to take a group of film students to see this for the first time on 35mm at the New Beverly in LA and then got to listen to them gush over it, break down and analyze the style, and just fall madly in love with Katharine Hepburn and/or Jimmy Stewart, who is the hottest man of all time in this, my god, Cary fucking Grant of all people standing next to him the whole time looking like Elmer Fudd.

    Went from Alien: Promusing to Alien: Tedius* right around the time that the unholy monstrosity (CGI Ian Holm) showed up but lore because it just, as these things tend to do, devolved into an inferior remake of every previous entry at once. 

    * I don’t know if that makes as much sense as I wanted it to, I watched this on a plane and typed this as we landed and I was trying to keep from vomiting from motion sickness.
