Very cheesy, somewhat fun baaaad movie. Lana C. for the record is the actress who was likely shot and killed by crazy record producer Phil Spector. She was 40 in 2003 when this happened. Spector was convicted of the crime, sent to prison and died in a prison a few years ago.

Citizen Kane 1941
Yes the greatest of all time. Before we knew to call the personality of someone like Kane - a narcissistic sociopath we have a film completely devoted to one. Yes loosely based on William Randolph Hearst. Kane is even somewhat sympathetic. Innovative camera-work, brilliant editing, superb acting. It's not a feel-good movie. Not an action movie. If it is not on your top 20 you do not know film, you do not have an aesthetic for artistic film-making. Sure it is a film to be studied and put on a pedestal, but it should be savored and enjoyed too.
