Whiplash 2014
This is a very intense movie. I wanted the main character to succeed in every aspect. Did I think the teacher went to far at times? Absolutely because who are you slapping around ? Being a creative is hard enough. Sometimes people aren’t as mentally stable on their own to understand their own power. The ending was a touch long . But I’m glad that he was able to pull out his Charlie Parker.

Before I watched the movie I read the screenplay. I literally stopped in the middle of reading and said this is actually a good script. It was easy to follow along and visualize the conflict . The next day I rented the movie . The added score and cinematography made this movie that much better. I appreciate the emotion that the cardinals have to face. It also shows that no matter what we face in life man is still human…
