  Obviously the music and performances are fantastic. Why they decided to stuff the story with fluff I don’t know. Also, I’m never a fan of a CGI slopfest.

  One of the most beautifully and masterfully shot movies I’ve seen in a while. Top notch performances and tight storytelling. Pacing had no slack and never felt rushed. The movie thoroughly dug into the meat which is on the premise’s bone— that is, how can imperfect men elect a pope? With regard to exploring the premise, not a morsel was left on the table. Conclave is a feast.

  One of those movies you don’t want to watch again. Not because it isn’t really good, but because it is good and takes such a depressing turn. Well executed and shot, thought provoking, great performances. I’ll think about it for a while.
