  For like 50% of this movie the protagonist behaves like the male version of Britta from Community, and I mean that in a good way.

  Full of competently directed key jangling action sequences - but compensating for the lack of any strong emotional through-line with a bizarrely convoluted plot that fizzled out like an overlong fart. 
  More importantly though I got to the end of the movie and had no idea why it was made, or what kind of story was even trying to be told. The film had no artistry at its core.
