George Miller's magnum opus. If cocaine was a movie, this is it. This movie fires on all cylinders (pun intended). Score is a 10/10. This movie makes the best use of practical effects and stuntwork of anything since the Lord of the Rings trilogy. The vehicle to vehicle combat is just the coolest shit ever. There's a guy who plays an electric guitar that shoots flames 🔥. Charlize Theron is a total badass as Furiosa, and steals the show from…

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

    ★★★

Disappointing to say the least, I really thought this had the potential to be great with Mangold coming off of Logan and Ford v Ferrari, but it was nowhere near up to par with the original trilogy of Indy films. Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character felt very forced and unlikable. Surprisingly, Harrison Ford wasn't sleepwalking through this, and he played a great old and jaded Indiana Jones. This movie is far too long for what it's trying to do, and the de-aging…

Had no idea that Clint Eastwood directed this until the credits rolled. Tom Hanks is brilliant as Sully, with some solid supporting performances from Aaron Eckhart and Laura Linney. As far as biopics go, this one certainly stands above most for me. The emotional depth brought to the role by Hanks is really what makes this movie work as well as it does. It's not a showy turn by any means, but more of a subdued, nuanced performance that captures…

    The Flash

    ★★★★

If all the DCEU films were this entertaining, we would still have a DCEU. The flash is a solid enjoyable popcorn movie with some quality humor and fun references to pop culture and previous DC films, while not relying on the fan-service to keep you entertained. Keaton is clearly enjoying himself reprising his role as Batman and was a welcome addition. The third act left a bit to be desired, as many superhero movies seem to do these days, but the flash was still an enjoyable ride. Excited to see what Muschietti will do with The Brave and the Bold. Solid 8/10.
